The greatest state of all UTAH! Part 1

We had the best vacation ever! We spent about a week and a half in Utah and it was a blast. Izzy had fall break so it was the perfect time to head home.

I went a couple of days earlier than Andy and Izzy (I flew standby = worst idea ever)

Fist stop ye old stomping ground THE CANYONS one of my very best friends flew in to UT the same time so I could see her and meet her beautiful new baby Eloise we had a fun day relaxing and visiting with some of our friends.

Friday night Nichole hosted a girls night and it was a full on roommate reunion
Caroline, Suzette, Mel, Nic, Jen and I laughed and chatted for hours it was perfect and I forgot my camera

Next stop I got to pick up Andy and Iz from the airport, after their delayed/missed flight arrival I headed straight to the Utah game to cheer on the UTES

After the game we headed up to Park City and had dinner with Jim and the boys and did a little shopping at the outlets

The next morning we had breakfast at the hotel in SL and got ready to go to Logan to see the family

oh we also stopped at build a bear meet Charlotte and Jennifer

did I mention?

We celebrated our anniversary... yep its been a year :)

Andy picked out my beautiful sapphire himself. I LOVE it!

I also got a really cool necklace from HERE remember we did get married on a baseball field

I didn't forget about Andy he got this snazzy watch

We spent the morning golfing (Andy golfed 32 holes that day)

We spent the afternoon and my favorite beach Poipu

They say its your birthday...

I am one lucky girl. Andy surprised me on my birthday with a fun filled day.

We started off kayaking

then we went ziplining

We even ziplined into a pond...

There was even a little hiking involved :)

We also had had a BBQ with some of our friends

It was a wonderful day! Andy did such a good job at surprising me with lots of activities, friends and of course presents! I love birthdays!

Friday funday - Secret Beach

Andy and I both have Friday's off together, so I am going to do my best to blog about our fun and adventurous Fridays.

Secret Beach is about a mile past Mahaulepu you can only get there by foot. It is amazing, very secluded we were actually the only ones there on Friday

Izzy's birthday celebration in Kauai was lots of fun! It was fun to have family and friends around to celebrate this special lil lady.

Happy Birthday Isabelle!

Today is my most favorite little girls birthday. So I will be traditional and list six reasons why Izzy is SO awesome!

1. Izzy is SO funny she can make anyone and everyone laugh!
2. She needs her sleep! She needs anywhere from 10 to 12 hours of sleep a night or else...
3. Her toys come to life. It's amazing she has the best imagination ever!
4. She is SO charming. She has her dad and her Hawaiian mama wrapped around her finger.
5. Isabelle is SMART, I think she is too smart she also has a really really good memory. Watch out :)
6. She loves animals. Her dog Kevin means the world to her. She has a very tender heart and loves all animals.

Hanalei Bay

In the summer time the swell is up on the south shore (where we live) and da norte chore (the north shore) is like a huge lake. It is AWESOME!
